Suggested Steps for Publishing a Commemorative Album

Mission Statement
Publish a Veterans' Commemorative Album comprising photographs and military data on all veterans listed on the Veterans' Plaque.
Form Committee
- Prepare a transmittal letter with Response Form and mail to all veterans and/or relatives. (See samples)
- Acknowledge receipt of donations. (See sample letter)
- Establish separate account for depositing all monies received.
- Sub-committee members make follow-up calls to those who have not yet responded to photo and military info requests.
- Prepare a letter (w/enclosed Advertising Response Form and Special Donor's Response Form) inviting commercial/professional people to be represented in the Album. (See sample & forms)
- Include announcement in Church Monthly Newsletter re: Project. (Include follow-up request for delayed responses) (See sample)
- Church Pastor cites delays from Pulpit; requests responses.
- Obtain support letters as Introductory Pages to Album.
- Determine style of Album to be printed depending upon amount of funds collected, number of pages, etc.
- Schedule and determine method of distribution to appropriate (?) recipients: Veterans/relatives/donors/advertisers.
