The goal of the Taxiarchae Veterans Committee is to identify Greek-Americans who served in the Armed Forces of the United States, and to formally acknowledge their service.

Building on the success of honoring Taxiarchae's parishioners who served in the United States military, the Taxiarchae Veterans Committee is launching a national effort, reaching out to each Greek Orthodox parish. The national agenda will foster veterans programs in each diocese based on Taxiarchae paradigm.

Parishes will be asked to send their results to Taxiarchae Church, which will be the temporary repository of this information. Data collected from New England parishes will be housed at the Metropolis in Brookline, MA.
